Mini SensationThe 2002 Welsh National was close to abandonment due to heavy rainfall the night before, but lucky enough it was given the go ahead on the morning. 'Mini Sensation' trained by Jonjo O,Neill and saddeled with Tony Dobbin made his claim to 1st with pure excellence. Favorite 'Gunner Welburn' had to make do with a third as 'Mini Sensation' overtook him on the last three fences from home, leaving him to challenge 'Chives' which was done with complete ease winning by a very long six lengths.
